Chittagong Kings bagged their third win by defeating Sylhet Royals by 7 wickets in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.
This is Sylhet’s fourth consecutive loss in BPL.
Batting first, Sylhet Royals scored 152 losing four wickets in 20 over. Kamran Akmal and PD Trego scored 54 and 51 respectively.
Farhad Reza took two wickets – Imrul Kayes and Trego, for Chittagong Kings.
In reply, Chittagong Kings chased their target of 154 in 17.3 over keeping seven wickets in hand.
Mahmudullah Riad scored highest for Chittagong, 56, while Ziaur Rahman played an unbeaten 48 from 38 balls.
Sohle Tanvir and GB Hogg took one wicket each for Sylhet Royals.
