Shakib Al Hasan has been attracted a base price of one crore rupees for the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction which will be held in Bangalore on February 12 and 13.
Shakib, who played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the past two editions of the IPL, attracted the highest base price among seven Bangladeshi players. Among the others, Tamim Iqbal attracted a base price of 50 lakh rupees while Shohag Gazi, Anamul Haque, Nasir Hossain, Rubel Hossain and Mahmudullah Riyad have been set a base price of 30 lakh rupees each.
A total of 232 international capped players from ten countries have been included in the auction register.
